Carpenter Bee and Amphibole Quartz Point
This beautiful real bee pendant has a gorgeous Amphibole crystal point embedded into the body. Amphibole Quartz, aka Angel Phantom Quartz, is an incredibly rare and wildly beautiful crystal that can only be found in one place in Brazil. The colors on the stone are subtle, with brown striations.
The detail on the wings and body of the bee is incredible. You can see the fine lines and patterns in the wings and the little hair's legs. This one is plated in silver and aged which gives it a gunmetal appearance.
The blue carpenter bee is rather large and can be typically found in Southeast Asia. We create our organic pendants via the process of electroforming. It’s a science project that fuses metal onto an object basically creating a thick copper “skin”. This process can take several days to complete. Between setting the piece up, selecting a stone, and plating each one can take about a week.
It’s our custom to add handmade chains to our pendants. The chain is 18 inches long and the pendant itself is just under 3 inches.
It is said that Phantom Quartz is a very high vibrational crystal that hastens our awareness allowing us to more easily access the spirit realm, lucid dream, and do past life work. It fosters a deep connection to the Angelic realm granting us their guidance and the ability to communicate with our Guardian Angel.
Woodland wonders! This is a beautiful gift for a nature lover or even a beekeeper, it's the perfect totem. This is a one-of-a-kind piece and while we may create another they are never identical.
Thank you for visiting our little shop!
**While this piece has a thick coating of copper, you should still treat it with care. As with any organic, there may be thin parts that could be broken if bent or crushed. These types of wearable art should be treated like any other piece of fine jewelry. Store in a dry place and avoid moisture whenever possible. If you’d like to slow the aging process down, keep the jewelry in a sealed ziplock.
